Why conservatives don’t fight what Elon Musk calls the ‘woke mind virus’

Twitter CEO Elon Musk on Nov. 25 asked the platform’s users for “advice” on the culture war.

One user replied by noting the conservative side needs to be funding more artists, filmmakers, and writers instead of politicians and PACs since “you can’t win a culture war without any culture.”

Musk replied: “The woke mind virus has thoroughly penetrated entertainment and is pushing civilization towards suicide. There needs to be a counter-narrative.”

But sources tell WorldTribune.com that despite massive popular support, MAGA billionaires fear entering the culture war arena due to the politicized Department of Justice and Internal Revenue Service.

Never-Trump billionaires, including George Soros, the Koch brothers, and FTX CEO Sam Bank-Fried, never had to worry about such concerns, the sources added.

Musk also agreed with a meme that suggests teachers indoctrinating America’s children with woke propaganda.

Musk added: “There is currently great danger that social media will splinter into far right-wing and far left-wing echo chambers that generate more hate and divide our society.”

Hollywood has been at the forefront of pushing the woke agenda even though Americans are signaling at the box office they want less of the woke content.

The box office gross over the summer of 2022 was 19 percent lower than the average summer gross in the 14 years between 2005 and 2019. It is the lowest for the season since 2001.

Breitbart senior writer John Nolte pointed out that the Toy Story franchise’s “Lightyear” and the Harry Potter franchise’s “Fantastic Beasts: The Secret of Dumbledore” both performed poorly at the box office. Both films, which were targeted at children, contained homosexual content.

The two big blockbusters of summer 2022 were Marvel’s “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and “Top Gun: Maverick,” both of which collectively pulled in over $1.5 billion from the domestic market. The two movies are “non-woke,” Nolte noted.
